This island will  be activated for short periodes, though we hope…on a regular base.

It is a small island in The north of Holland, and is known as “Buitenkamp bosje” by the local people.

Besides some wild life, the island isnt in “use” by anyone.

The “owner” is “het waterschap”. A gouvermental organisation with “water management” as its primairy function.

The island its task was to grow trees, they were used to reinforce the dikes and as weir.

At the present time the island hasn’t got any funtion anymore. And nature is left on her own.

The Saturn is a square antenna in total length about 22 meter. The highest point is around 11 meters. I will upload a document containing  information how to make one. The antenna has some “activity” bennefits” like:

1- Needs only one single high point

2- Gain  equal to a 2 / 3 elements beam

3- large figure 8 radiation pattern.

4-So, NO turning L/P or S/P

5- NO deep nulls in the elevation pattern.

6-Power handeling : <10 Kw.

7-You can construct almost any other type of antenna.

-dipole

-1el quad (bamby)

-J-pole (1/2 wave vertical)

etc…
